Synopsis:

Eva has just turned 50. She’s been married for over 20 years and has two, teenage children. So far, nothing remarkable. But on a business trip to Rome something happens that turns her life upside down. She meets Alex, a scriptwriter who’s spending a few days in the Italian city. The instant attraction she feels for him, the butterflies in her tummy, the seductive hint of possibility… After all this time, she remembers what it feels like to fall in love and it shifts something inside of her. It reignites a fire that had long been extinguished.

She returns to Barcelona with a clear mission: to fall in love again before it’s too late. Behind her family’s back, she starts looking for an apartment, somewhere she can see herself living alone. When her secret comes out and she confesses she’s leaving her husband for someone else, someone she hasn’t even met yet, everyone is perplexed to say the least!

Eva starts her life over, determined to throw herself back into single life, with all the seduction and passion that it might entail. Alex is obviously still fresh in her mind and she decides to look for him, but much to her annoyance, she discovers he’s unavailable. Over the course of a year, we’ll follow Eva in her quest for romance. Will she find love all over again? Sounds unlikely, but in the game of love, never say never!
