Synopsis:

María works with her brother Ángel in a family business, the industrial mill in the village, which he abandoned years ago. She, banished from everything, works methodically to survive while Ángel’s friends watch with satisfaction as María returns, savouring her failure in life. Angel hires Miquel, and a mutual admiration is born between him and Maria. The presence of the foreigner causes fear because Miguel has been in prison and there is something mystical on him that can influence others.
