Synopsis:

Summer promises to be idyllic for Juan (Pau Simon) and Gabriela (Berta Galo). University classes are over, and they’ll have the family beach house all to themselves. But their plans take a turn when Juan’s father, Fernando (Roberto Álamo), shows up unannounced with his new girlfriend, Mónica (Maggie Civantos). The tension between father and son makes living together difficult—but even more so is the tension that arises between Juan and Mónica, the unknown woman much younger than his father who has replaced his mother. Secrets, forbidden passions, the heat of the sun and the beach conspire to an unexpected August.
