Synopsis:

Empar, a 60-year-old farmer, depends on her beloved cow Tona to keep her small farm alive. After repeated failed attempts to breed her, she turns to Bernat, the powerful owner of the region's largest dairy, for help. When Tona finally concives, the local veterinarian warns that the pregnancy could be dangerous. Determined to safeguard her cow's well-being, Empar defies the pressures of the town. With the unexpected support of Riqui, a young newcomer, and even Bernat himself, she discovers that it's never too late to fight for what you love—or to begin again.
