Synopsis:
Farruquito is celebrated as one of the finest flamenco dancers of his generation, heir to a legendary dynasty of bailaores. By the age of 20, he was at the height of his success, captivating audiences worldwide with his extraordinary talent, while the shadows of his family’s turbulent history loomed large. This film traces his journey through triumph and tragedy, focusing on a defining moment: a fatal accident that leads to prison and forces him to confront his past and the burden of his legacy. As he seeks redemption, the story also explores his family—his grandfather Farruco, a flamenco innovator, and his son El Moreno—revealing the tension between artistic brilliance, inheritance, and expectation, within the world of flamenco and Gitano culture.
